Samsung and its flagship models definitely splashed the tech arena in 2012 and this year as well, the South Korean giant has no different plans.
Already Samsung Galaxy S4 has become the latest talk of the town, now followed by Galaxy S4 mini rumors, but how can one ignore the news about the gigantic successor Note 3, whic has also scored a lot of limelight in the tech amphitheater so far.
Well, the latest on the monster phablet is that South Korean publication Asiae is reporting that despite of all the big screen size, ie. 6.3 inches or 5.9 inches, the highlighted part is that the successor of Note 2 will come flaunting the unbreakable display. Yes! And reports have also claimed that the upcoming heavyweight is going to escalate its competition from the phablet market to the likes of miniature tablets including Apple iPad Mini with a flexible AMOLED one with 1920 x 1280 pixels of resolution.
Adding little more to the provided information, the reports in the past have also revealed that Galaxy Note 3 will arrive on the retail shelves powered by the hefty Samsung Exynos Octa processor, enthrusted in Galaxy S4. Talking about Galaxy Note 2, it is powered by a quad core Exynos chip, which is twice less powerful than the former unveiled recently.
For those who are not aware, Exynos Octa chip was announced featuring four ARM Cortex A7 processors and four ARM Cortex A15 processors. Further the new processor will also enhance the battery life of the handsets, compared to current quad core processors. While the GPU configuration was not announced by Samsung, AnandTech has reported that the eight core processor will have 533MHz PowerVR SGX 544MP3 GPU.
Meanwhile, as it is known to all, that Galaxy Note 3 is going to be a bigger screen version of S4, hence it will come equipped with a huge battery and further is also expected to come running on Android 5.5 Key Lime Pie OS, 16 Megapixel rear camera with auto focus, LED flash and BSI, 3 Megapixel front camera with 'Best Photo,' 'Best Faces,' low light show and BSI, 32, 64 and 128 GB memory options, 3 GB of RAM, 4,000 mAh Li-on battery all in dimensions and weight of 84.9 x 161.9 x 8.9 mm and 220 grams respectively. While, the launch date is estimated to be around IFA Berlin 2013 or later this year.
