Samsung is one of those companies that's always making sure that it doesn't ever fall out of the smartphone race. And that's justified with the likes of Apple or Sony always looking to get the better of it. And this is primarily done by the company by releasing smartphones at regular intervals.
In the past, Samsung has made quite the name for itself with its Galaxy range of smartphones that have been such a treat. With noteworthy names such as the Galaxy S4 or the Galaxy S5, the company has kept its momentum. But there's more.
With the Galaxy series always growing, the company has also been maintaining quite the track record with its notable phablet offerings that come with the Galaxy Note series of handsets. And the next one, the Galaxy Note 4, as it seems, is just around the corner.
We have seen numerous leaks and rumors related to the phablet arriving in the past few months. However, the amount of leaks generated via the device shows that Samsung will indeed release it soon.
So which are the top rumors to know before the device makes its official entry into the market. We take a look at the top 5.
There have been numerous reports in the past that the Galaxy Note 4 might arrive with a curved screen, although it may be nothing related to the previously released Galaxy Round. But this one might just offer curved edges with zero bezel visibility. Just might.
While the original Note offered a 5.3 inch screen, the Note 2 offered a 5.5-inch display, with the Note 3 pushing the ante to 5.7 inches. And going by the changes and increase in screen size, reports have repeatedly stated how the Galaxy Note 4 should come with a 5.9-inch display, and that it will match up to the likes of HTC One Max and LG G Pro 2.
This might be a bit of a downer. There are rumors stating how the next Note phablet might even cost more than the new Samsung Galaxy S5. The Galaxy S5 has been currently priced at Rs. 35,189, and that price is sure to shoot up as soon as the Note 4 becomes official.
Going by the reports, Samsung might just have planned a camera upgrade for us with the new Note. A previous ET report had even claimed that Samsung is developing a 20MP sensor for the device, and is due for release in the second half of the year. In fact, the Note 4 might emerge as the best ever camera Samsung has ever offered.
Mark you calendars. The Samsung UNPACKED event is officially scheduled for September 3. And if we are lucky enough, the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 will undoubtedly be the biggest attraction at the show.
