Samsung has been desperately seeking to oust Apple from the market to capture the numero uno position in the US and global market.

While Samsung's S series has been seen as a rival to Apple's flagship handsets; still the company is struggling to beat the Cupertino-based tech giant.

At the same time, Samsung should not lose hope, as the company's upcoming phone under its Note series could give serious competition to the much rumored iPhone 6.

With the Samsung Galaxy S5 yet to go on sale next week in more than 150 countries globally, loud and clear rumors have already emerged in the webosphere about the company's next-generation Galaxy Note phone.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Tipped To Feature 2K Display, 64-bit CPU

Even though the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 is yet to be made official, an unconfirmed report straight out of China brings the latest word about the purported device.

Well, according to Chinese blog site CMMO, Samsung's first 2K phone will be none other than but the Note 4. The blog site further reported that Samsung might even pack a 4K resolution display to make the Note 4 future proof at least for the time being. However, a 4K resolution display seems impossible for the moment.

Like the Samsung Galaxy S5, the forthcoming Note 4 is expected to be water proof and dustproof. Not only that, the Note 4 might come with a 64-bit processor, alongside an astonishing 4GB RAM.

On the imaging front, there's a possibility to see a 20.7-megapixel rear-facing camera with ability to record 4K resolution videos and built-in OIS feature. Besides, the Note 4 will be powered by a high-capacity 3600- 3800mAh battery and will run Android 4.5 mobile OS. Moreover, rumor has it that the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 might feature 128GB of internal memory.

There's no concrete information available about the Samsung Galaxy S4. Therefore, we advise you to take these glorified specs sheet as a pinch of salt. As usual, Samsung could launch the Note 4 sometime around September time frame. A potential announcement at this year's IFA Berlin tech show is highly likely. Stay tuned to GizBot for more updates!
