The officials over at Samsung are yet to throw some light on the forthcoming Galaxy Note 4. After all, the Note 4 will be their flagship handset in the second half of 2014.

Having touted as the "must-have" high-end handset to look forward in 2014, the buzz around the device seemed to have surpassed that of the iPhone 6. It's looking increasing likely that Samsung will unleash the Note 4 at this year's IFA tech show in Berlin.

Samsung Galaxy Note 4 Tipped To Feature 5.5 Inch QHD Display

Samsung released the Galaxy S5 in February with much fanfare, so keeping the trend in mind one should expect the Note 4 to arrive around September time frame.

Well, Samsung appears to have confirmed the Galaxy Note 4 release date with invitations to an unpacked event on September 3 in Berlin, Germany, ahead of IFA 2014. Just last week, the Galaxy Note 4 was tipped to get launch on September 3. The Original Note 3 was launched on September 4 last year at IFA tech show.

Samsung's forthcoming Galaxy Note 4 is expected to come in two variants: one featuring a QHD display and the other bearing a flexible display. The monster handset is also expected to feature a 5.7-inch QHD display. However, now sources close to a new report that too, out of China reveals the specifications of the Galaxy Note 4.

According to a report, the Note 4 will be much smaller than its predecessor. In fact, the new device could sport a 5.5-inch Super AMOLED QHD display. Earlier rumors have suggested the handset to come with a massive 5.7-inch 2K resolution screen.

Not only the screen will be smaller, the fitted camera will be based on 16MP ISOCELL rather than a 16MP Sony sensor as reported claimed in the past. The rear-facing camera should record 2160p video at 30fps and 1080p at 60fps. The front-facing shooter is pegged to have a 3.68MP resolution.

In the processing department, the Note 4 will likely to come stuffed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 processor, paired with 3GB of RAM. Although, there's info available on the controversial Exynos 5 Octa-Core SoC. Obviously, the phone will run on Android 4.4.3 Kitkat mobile OS.

Other highlighted features include a retina eye-scanner and a UV light sensor. Stay tuned to GizBot for more updates!

Other than the Galaxy Note 4, South Korea's top ranked handset maker is expected to launch the much awaited Google Glass rival, alongside the premium version of the Galaxy S5. The Galaxy Note 4 will be launched on September 3 in Berlin.
