The smartphone in question is the Galaxy Note 4 which has been on the rumors since the time that Galaxy S5 was launched. Moreover, following the rumors, even several leaks have appeared until now giving a rough picture of what the actual device would look like, in reality.
In short, the Galaxy Note 4 is highly rumored to come with a 5.7-inch 2K display. Moreover, other rumors also suggest that the device would also sport a retina scanner and a UV sensor. And if the patent filing is to be referred to which came on highlight just a couple of weeks back, the device can also have a flexible screen variant.
What is quite interesting about the upcoming Galaxy Note 4 is that it is said to have an accessory (Ultrasonic cover), which will aid the visually impaired.
Another thing that Samsung Galaxy Note 4 might retain from the Galaxy S5 is the fingerprint sensor, while other aspects like camera, UI and even processor would be getting a bit bump.
Anyways, today, GizBot has come up with a top 5 rumors surrounding the upcoming Galaxy Note 4 from Samsung. Take a look at the sliders below:
Talking about the display the Galaxy Note 4 is said to come with a 5.7-inch display, just like the Galaxy Note 3. However, there would be a massive QHD resolution of 1440 by 2560 pixels which would match the likes of LG G3 and Find 7 from Oppo. Samsung will most likely use a Super AMOLED display which it has been using for a long time now.
However, rumors on the online world also suggests that the device would also come with a 3-sided display from YOUM. But this would be a different variant altogether.
If the latest benchmark reports are to be considered, than the Galaxy Note 4 will come in two processor variants. As usual one would be powered by a Snapdragon 805 and the other would be using Exynos 5433 octa core SoC. However, both variants would feature a 3GB of RAM, and 32GB of storage. There are also rumors that the device will come with a microSD card support.
From the initial phase of leaks, the Galaxy Note 4 was rumored to come with a same 16MP rear camera which was used in the Galaxy S5 smartpohne. However, the addition would be the OIS feature. To be precise, the camera uses an ISOCELL sensor by Samsung, and special pixel pairs on the sensor's surface are what make phase-detection AF work. Interestingly, according to the recent benchmark details the device will bear a 3.7MP front-facing shooter.
So far, Android KitKat version has been rumored to run on the Galaxy Note 4 smartphone but Samsung could use the latest version which could be forked a bit more. However, irrespective of the version of Android, one thing is sure that the device will come with a TouchWiz UI. The UI and software features will be optimized for Multi Window and S Pen support. Obviously, the device will have S Health app and other proprietary features.
Obviously, the Galaxy Note 4 will be announced on September 3, and the retail availability of the device will also be announced at the same "Unpacked Event." Most probably, the smartphone would go on same in the second week of September. It should be noted that there will also be several other carrier-based variants of the smartphone, which will be released in the following months.
