Samsung Galaxy S Duos 3 Launched in India at Rs 8,150: 10 Smartphone Rivals to Consider

After launching the Galaxy Star 2, Galaxy Star Advance and Galaxy Ace NXT smartphones in India, Samsung recently introduced the Galaxy S Duos 3 in the country. The phone is yet to go official in India, but a couple of retail chains have started selling the device. The Galaxy S Duos 3 is priced at Rs. 8,150.

Spec-wise, the phone offers a 4-inch display with a resolution of 800 x 480-pixels. It is powered by a 1GHz quad-core processor, paired with 512MB of RAM, 4GB of on-board storage and a microSD card slot.

The phone is running the latest Android 4.4 (KitKat). In the imaging department, there's a 5MP rear-facing camera, and a VGA quality front-facing shooter. The makers have added a 1500mAh battery fitted inside. Other connectivity options include: 3G, Wi-Fi, Dual-SIM, FM Radio, GPS, Bluetooth v4.0 and more.

The device will face rather tough competition from the likes of the Motorola Moto E; Xiaomi Redmi 1s ; LG L60 ; Lava Iris X1 ; Samsung Galaxy Star Advance ; Micromax Canvas L A108 ; Xolo A1000s ; Celkon Millennium Vogue Q455 ; Karbonn Titanium S19 ; Asus Zenfone 4 ; Micromax Canvas XL2 A109 ; Xolo Q600S, among others.
