Samsung Galaxy S Duos and Galaxy Y Duos Lite Released : What's the Difference?

Samsung the world's largest smartphone manufacturer has been in the news since early 2012 since the launch of Galaxy S3, its flagship smartphone and then for Galaxy Note 2, the second generation phablet, which was unveiled last week at the IFA expo in Berlin. Apart from these devices, the company was also making the dual SIM versions of the Galaxy S and Galaxy Pocket smartphones.

On September 5, 2012, Samsung has expanded its product portfolio with the launch of the Galaxy Y Duos Lite and Galaxy S Duos. Both are stylish and powerful smartphones that are designed to offer a better user experience.

At the launch, Mr. Asim Warsi, VP, Samsung Mobile was quoted saying, “At Samsung, we are seeking to fuel the growth of the Dual SIM market in India by launching our innovative, DUAL SIM Smartphones. With the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S Duos and Galaxy Y Duos Lite, we are seeking to democratize the Smartphone market in India.”

Both the smartphones are powered by Smart dual-SIM feature, which allows the users to simultaneously receive calls on both the SIM cards without missing a single call.
