Even though Samsung is almost ready to show off its next-generation Galaxy S device at the Mobile World Congress (MWC), the company hasn't forgotten to announce new versions of existing Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 Mini.
The new ‘Black Edition' Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 Mini incorporates a faux-leather textured like rear-back cover and bezel. Additionally, both devices come preloaded with a suite of eight dedicated wallpapers for both the home and lock screens as well as several new and exclusive ringtones.
The Galaxy S4 and S4 mini Black Editions will be sold in sleek black packaging complete with a set of black accessories including a power adapter, data cable and headphones.
For a reminder, the black editions were first spotted on Samsung's Russia website last month.
"As Samsung continues to expand on the modern Galaxy design approach, we're excited to offer Black Edition versions of our popular Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 mini," said Younghee Lee, Executive Vice President of Global Marketing, IT & Mobile Division at Samsung Electronics. "These eye-catching and sophisticated models demonstrate Samsung's commitment to bring consumers new ways to express their style through their mobile device."
Samsung says the black edition Galaxy S4 and Galaxy S4 mini devices will be available in select markets from February. We don't know whether Samsung has any such plans to launch these above special handsets in India or not.
