The hype around Samsung Galaxy S4 - the next handset in the high-end Android smartphone lineup is increasing day by day. While there is no information on when exactly this smartphone will be launched or about its actual specifications, the handset has been leaked for a fair number of times. With these leaks and rumors, tech enthusiasts have been able to guess that the handset will come with an Exynos 5 Octa processor, 13MP camera and more.
According to a SamMobile report, the EXIF data of two new photos that were uploaded on Picasa on February 15, 2013 show the model number GT-I9505, which is rumored for Galaxy S4. The possible Galaxy S4 sample photos are not breathtaking and they show two shots of the back of a tower computer. One of these shots is too blurry, but the resolution if 2322 x 4128, hinting at a 13MP camera in the Galaxy S4, which is a significant upgrade from the 8MP rear camera.
However, these are not the only photos seem to have captured with the handset as two weeks back, a pair of photos alleged to be captured with Galaxy S4 surfaced on Picasa showing a keyboard and a printout of a child's worksheet. These photos showed up as coming from the Samsung SGH-I337, the rumored AT&T Galaxy S4 version also the Korean Galaxy S4 model.
As per a recent benchmark result, a device appeared to to have a 1920 x 1080 pixel display with the name Samsung SHV-E300S is speculated to be Galaxy S4. The benchmark results clearly hints at two versions of the highly rumored smartphone. One with a quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset and the other with the newly announced Exynos 5 Octa core processor both running on Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean OS.
The handset is claimed to come with a 13MP rear camera, which will make the tech world recollect all those rumors that were existing last year prior to the launch of Galaxy S3 and Galaxy Note 2 - the best selling devices till date. Samsung was highly rumored to use a 13MP camera on these handsets as well, however, at the time of unwrapping it was an 8MP camera instead of 13MP. However, high-end devices such as Xperia Z have come up with 13MP primary camera hinting that Samsung might also use the same for its upcoming handset.
Going by earlier reports, Galaxy S4 is rumored to come with a 4.99 inch display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution, 2GB RAM, up to 128GB internal storage and more. The handset is predicted to come on March 8, 2013 and be released subsequently in April. Anyway, the rivals should worry a little bit, because if the Samsung Galaxy S4 gets released earlier, they could be in a lot of trouble in terms of sales.
