Samsung Galaxy S4 to Land in India with 1.6GHz Exynos Octa Core Processor Version: Top 10 Cases

After much hype going all over the tech world, South Korean tech giant took the wraps off the highly anticipated Galaxy S4. At the time of launch, the company claimed that its flagship smartphone will start shipping from April 2013. Hence, consumers across the world who are looking forward to own the Galaxy S3 successor are eagerly awaiting the release of the Android heavyweight.

India being one of the main markets of Samsung, is sure to get the Galaxy S4 in the first wave of release. But, as there are two variants of the smartphone - one with 1.6GHz Exynos 5 Octa processor and the other with 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, the confusion of which one will arrive to India is prevalent.

A recent SamMobile report has shed some light into this topic as it suggests that Galaxy S4 will land in India with the Exynos 5 Octa processor. This report comes in after the crashing report, which states that most of the European countries will get the Galaxy S4 with a 1.9GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 quad core processor.

At the same time, countries including Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Korean, France, UAE, Germany and more are speculated to get both the versions of Galaxy S4.

Just a recap of specs, Galaxy S4 packs a 4.99 inch Super AMOLED capacitive touchscreen display with a stunning resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels and a pixel density of 441 ppi, Exynos 5 Octa 5410 processor, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS, 13MP rear camera, 2MP front camera, 16GB/32GB/64GB internal storage, a micro SD card slot supporting up to 64GB expandable storage, 2GB RAM, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, NFC, Infrared port and a 2,600 mAh battery.

Further, S4 is loaded with features such as Story Album, Group Play, S Translator, Samsung Smart Pause, Samsung Smart Scroll, Air View, Air Gesture, S Voice Drive, Samsung Optical Reader and more.

While the release of Galaxy S4 is highly awaited, an online retailer - Tradus has started accepting pre-orders for a price of Rs 999. Further, Galaxy S4 is speculated to be priced at Rs 45,000 approximately.

Meantime, the newly launched Galaxy S4 has already got a plethora of cases to protect it from damages. Having a plastic panel with a metallic rim, the consumers will definitely have to protect their Galaxy S4 by using a case on it.
