The update should include all the features and improvements of Android 4.4, such as performance tweaks which would make the device a bit faster. Moreover, users will also get a redesigned status bar, wireless printing support, full-screen album art and a camera shortcut on the lockscreen, and updated versions of a few Samsung apps.

Since the official change-log has not been released by Samsung, new features are yet to be known. However, tech pundits are speculating that the KitKat update might bring in few of the camera features of the Galaxy K Zoom to Galaxy S4 Zoom.

Obviously, the update will be released in phases and thus different regions will be receiving it in different dates. However, there are some impatient folks who doesn't want to wait. These guys can go ahead and check for the update manually by heading on to the Settings of the phone > About phone > Software updates menu.
