If you are expecting to see more devices from the South Korea based ace smartphone and tablet maker, Samsung, the most awaited one is no other than the already known Galaxy S5 smartphone which has been on the rumors since late last year. On the other hand, Japanese giant Sony is also reportedly said to be working on its Xperia Z1 successor smartphone, which would be probably called as the Xperia Z2.
Now, people who are, in fact, waiting to see how these devices will actually look like, here is a worth watching concept video of the two devices that have recently been posted on YouTube. But before going ahead with watching the videos, lets get a brief idea on what the two smartphones are going to be capable of.
When it comes to Galaxy S5 smartphone, there are already several rumors taking rounds on the internet world. Recapitulating all the alleged rumors and leaks tat took place over the past few months, the S5 would come with a more than a 5 inch display churning out an amazing 2560 x 1440 resolution and a pixel density of 560 ppi.
The smartphone would also use the next generation 64-bit Exynos chipset coupled with a 4GB of RAM. The company is rumored to attach an advanced 16 MP rear camera with optical image stabilization which will be capable of shooting video at 4k UHD quality. The device, as per the video, would come with an aluminum. Talking about the User Interface, the Galaxy S5 might also use the Samsung's new Magazine UX (officially revealed on the Galaxy TabPRO and Galaxy NotePRO) to offer newer charm to the users.
On the other hand, the Xperia Z2 smartphone, a successor to the company's last year's flagship device Xperia Z1, has also been leaked several times in the past. This particular handset is rumored to come with a 5.2 inch display with a "wrap-around-screen message indicator".
Speculations are that the Xperia Z2's resolution would hit the mark of 1440pixels. Thus Qualcomm's Snapdragon 805 chipset, which will easily support such high resolution displays, is expected to be seen featuring in the device. But the concept video says that the device would come powered by Snapdragon 800 SoC.
There would be a sufficient 3GB of RAM and a 23MP rear camera capable of shooting 4K videos and also a 2.5MP front-facing shooter would come in handy for taking selfies and making video calls. Obvioulsy the smartphone will come with an ultra-slip profile, very much like the company's other smartphones like the Xperia Z Ultra and Xperia Z1 itself. [Click here to watch the video]
However, the specs and features of these devices are pretty much the culmination of all the rumors and leaks that have taken place over the past months. Both Sony and Samsung are yet to officially declare the devices. Also the specs are not final and could possibly be launched with some modifications in them.
