Samsung has been selling its latest flagship device the Galaxy S5 like never before and the company's executive recently said that the smartphone's sales will most likely cross the benchmark created by its Galaxy S4 smartphone last year. And as the device becomes popular, obviously, the company will most probably build other variants as well.

The premium variant of the Galaxy S5, called by the name of Galaxy S5 Prime, has already been swirling in the rumor zone for a long time and now another variant of the device has appeared online. But don't get too excited about it as this one is just a variant, which comes with a different back panel. The company has already announced the variant and it's called the Crystal Collection for Galaxy S5. Obviously, the name is self-explanatory.

In the past, we've seen Samsung collaborating with Swarovski to create Crystal Editions for the Galaxy S2, Galaxy S3 mini and Galaxy S4, plus special Swarovski-studded backs for the Galaxy Note 3. Thus it is natural for us to believe that the duo will again come up together to create the Crystal Edition of the Galaxy S5 smartphone.

The new variant of the handset will be soon launched in South Korea and if it gets unveiled in other countries, it would be sometime around May this year.

Going through a brief rundown of the specs, the Galaxy S5 comes with a 5.1-inch Super AMOLED display offering a Full HD resolution and churns out a pixel density of 432 ppi. It is powered by Octa Core Processor Adonis Prime2 (Quad 1.9GHz + Quad 1.3GHz) + XMM6360 coupled with 2GB of RAM and runs on Android KitKat 4.4.2 OS with the layer of the upgraded version of the TouchWiz UI including a new notification bar.
