For the past several months there have been numerous reports suggesting that Samsung is working on a mini version of the flagship Galaxy S5. Like the flagship Samsung Galaxy S5, the miniature version would come with Android 4.4 Kitkat out-of-the-box, alongside its respected hardware. There have also been rumors that the device would be cheaper than that of its older brother.
In any case, the latest reports suggests the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini has leaked via the company's U.K page. Serial leaker @evleaks has posted a new picture of the Samsung UK site listing for the forthcoming Galaxy S5 Mini. The leaked image appears to be from a placeholder for the purported Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini on Samsung's U.K website.

Furthermore, the Galaxy S5 Mini might be dubbed the Galaxy S5 Dx, as it shows ‘Dx' suffix under the Galaxy S5 name. The Galaxy S5 Dx is expected to come in wide range of colors, including White, Blue, Grey, and Gold. Additionally, the leaked image of the Galaxy S5 Dx also confirms that the device will be compatible with Samsung's new range of wearable devices- Gear 2 and the Gear Fit. Unfortunately, the new handset will come without the heart rate monitor.
Rumors have it that the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini will arrive with a 4.5-inch Super AMOLED 720p HD display, a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon processor( unspecified chipset), Android 4.4.2 Kitkat, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with autofocus, LED flash and full HD (1080p) video recording, a 2-megapixel secondary camera, 1.5GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, IR blaster and a 2100 mAh battery.
Most recently, a new report from SamMobile revealed that the Galaxy S5 Mini will be IP67 certified.
