South Korean giant Samsung left no stones unturned to make the Galaxy S5 a real success. Now, the company is all set to announce a camera centric handset, dubbed the Galaxy K Zoom.
The Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom is expected to go official on April 29 in Singapore.
Meanwhile, the first sample image from the forthcoming Galaxy S5 Zoom has surfaced online. The Galaxy K Zoom, also known as the Galaxy S5 Zoom, will be the legitimate successor to the Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom.
Aside from what the images looks like, the purported phone carrying a model number Samsung SM-C115, again confirms that this picture is likely to be taken from the Galaxy S5 Zoom. Remember the Galaxy S4 Zoom has the model number SM-C101.
Just last week, Samsung officially posted an invitation on their Twitter account. The teaser invite shows the letter ‘k' printed in bold, which hinted that the company will announce the much hyped Galaxy K Zoom or the Galaxy S5 Zoom.
Just as a reminder, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Zoom recently passed the through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) listing. The device has been confirmed having a 4G LTE and NFC connectivity.
As far as its speculated specs, the Galaxy S5 Zoom will have a 20MP rear-facing camera, 10x optical zoom lens, 16MP sensor and a Xenon flash. In addition, the phone might have ultra slim design boasting faux leather back cover.
The handset is expected to have a regular 4.8-inch Super AMOLED 720p HD LCD display, a hexa-core processor, 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, a microSD card support and a 2MP front-facing camera. The handset will run on Android 4.4 Kitkat mobile OS.
