Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Launched with Dual Curved Screen and Wireless Charging
Samsung has finally announced the much-anticipated Samsung S6 Edge at the Mobile World Congress 2015. The phone is a piece of visual treat with its curved edges on both sides. The Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge have a completely redesigned look and feel and have left behind the cheap plastic and are covered in premium metal and glass.
Both the Galaxy S6 and the S6 Edge share the same platform and specifications apart from the curved screen which sets the Edge apart and also makes it costlier than the S6. The Samsung S6 Edge stands as a world class device with a brand new 14nm 64-bit Samsung Exynos Octacore chip. This is couples with 3GB of LPDDR4 RAM. The user interface with the new chipset is very smooth and the phone runs on the latest Android Lollipop 5.0. Samsung emphasizes on the fact that the camera launches very quickly as a result of this new hardware coupling.
With the new advancements in design and features Samsung had to make a compromise on the storage area. The phone no longer has an option of an expandable storage. It will be available in 32GB, 64GB and 128GB internal memory configurations.

In terms of pricing and availability, the device will globally roll out on the 10th of April. The phone will be available in white pearl, black sapphire, gold platinum and green emerald colours. We only hope that the device is not priced too high.
