Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Receives Android 5.0.2 Lollipop Update

Samsung's latest flagship Smartphone duo Galaxy S6 & Galaxy S6 Edge retail sales begin today and in the meantime the Galaxy S6 Edge is getting its first official firmware update Android 5.0.2 Lollipop through Over-The-Air (OTA).

The Galaxy S6 Edge has barely made it out into the hands of some customers and the producing company is already rolling out an OTA update to Android 5.0.2.

As per the sources from Netherlands, the update measures 250 MB and it adds some new features and functionalities.

Some of the features brought in by the Android 5.0.2 update to the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge include enhanced touch screen response, improved compatibility with accessories, new features added to the Photo Editor, interface enhancements in email and improvements in S Planner, Muziek and other proprietary Samsung apps

Samsung's flagship duo has been getting a wonderful reception from eager customers. This Android 5.0.2 update related to the TouchWiz ecosystem mostly. Moreover, the update has been spotted only in Netherlands for now and we are yet to see when it will hit the devices in the other global markets.
