Samsung's ambitious Galaxy S6 isn't coming anytime soon; although many have signled the arrival of the flagship handset a little earlier than expected. The Galaxy S6 is already a hot topic, even though the Galaxy S5 has been out for a few months now.
With the Samsung Galaxy S6 expected to flaunt a new design, leaked images of the handset's body have apparently made their way to the internet.
If Samsung's sticks to its current strategy, the Samsung Galaxy S6 is going to be a lot different from its predecessor. Claimed images of the Galaxy S6 shows a device crafted from a single piece of aluminum. That means the upcoming Galaxy S6 will come with a uni-aluminum body, just like the iPhone 6.
Although the leaked images hardly give a peak into the device's real design, the leaked suggest the Galaxy S6 could end up being similar to the Galaxy Alpha.
However, it's possible - and widely speculated - that Samsung will take inspiration from the Galaxy Alpha - its highest rated handset in terms of form factor and design. This would mean that the Samsung Galaxy S6 will be an improved version of the Galaxy Alpha. Or Samsung might choose a different design language all together.
What should we expect? It is a design that's closer to the Galaxy Note 4, minus plastic chassis. Samsung usually sticks to its design patterns, so the Galaxy S6 is expected to be lighter, slimmer and smaller compared to the Galaxy Note 4.
It's possible that Samsung will release a special variant of the Galaxy S6. The special variant might not be different from the regular version, but might come with a Galaxy Note-edge like screen.
We haven't got enough leaked images or photos of the Samsung Galaxy S6 yet, and don't expect it toarrive any time soon. But some designers have already put their minds to bring up the Samsung Galaxy S6 concept images.
Samsung has had an average year, if we include the Galaxy S5 sales numbers. While rumors fly around all the time, a couple of them present the right picture. If Samsung is indeed designing the Galaxy S6 with a new perspective, there's a fair chance to see the changes in the face of the company.
But what will be the Galaxy S6's biggest highlight? What new features can we expect in the Samsung Galaxy S6? And when will the much-awaited smartphone come out? All of these questions are yet to be answered. As soon as CES 2015 starts, expect more rumors like these to start flowing in full form.
