It was not long ago when Samsung's previous designing head stepped down in wake of criticisms related to the new Samsung Galaxy S5. Now, another India-based Samsung official has just followed the same route.
According to reports, Samsung India's country head for mobile phones and digital imaging Vineet Taneja had quit the company, as industry sources have revealed.
However, Samsung is yet to officially announce on the departure of Taneja, and has instead said in its official statement said: "Samsung does not comment on rumours or speculation."
Reports have also stated that there has been talk in the industry for a few months that Taneja would resign. Taneja, who arrived from Bharti Airtel, was in charge of mobile phones division for more than a year now.
Taneja joined the firm last year from Bharti Airtel where he was the Operations Director (South India and Sri Lanka).
And as we mentioned before, the news of Taneja's resignation comes in the wake of Executive Vice President Chang Dong-hoon stepping down following the criticism of Samsung's latest phone, Galaxy S5.
