Samsung To Launch Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man Edition Next Week

Samsung has officially confirmed that the company will introduce the Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man edition. The South Korean giant has been teasing the crazy phone for several weeks, this time on the company's Facebook page. The much-awaited special edition handset is expected to go on sale in select markets soon.

The image below was teased by Samsung Korea earlier today; the Iron Man S6 Edge edition appears to feature a red and gold finish, complete with a depiction of the superhero.

It is to be noted that the Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man edition could be manufactured in limited numbers. According to local media reports, the Galaxy S6 Edge Iron Man edition would be limited to 1000 units worldwide.

Hardware-wise, the Iron Man edition is expected to be identical to the original S6 Edge, with the 5.1-inch Quad HD display, Exynos 7420 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 16-megapixel rear-facing camera and more. It is likely to run the same software, though, the phone could probably feature pre-loaded Iron Man themes.

So far, Samsung hasn't confirmed the price or, exactly where it will available. We expect the official announcement will be made soon.
