Samsung Launches Galaxy Grand Prime in India for Rs 15,499

Just a couple of days ago Samsung's new phone the Galaxy Grand Prime made it to the headlines in India in a form of a rumor. Now the device has officially been launched at the price of Rs. 15,499. The smartphone can be bought in White and Grey color options.

The south Korean tech giant says that the device is one of the selfie-centric smartphone from the company. It features a 5MP front facing shooter.

Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime: Key Specifications

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime comes with a 5-inch capacitive touch screen display offering a qHD resolution of 960 x 540 pixels.

It is powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM. The handset runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS.

The smartphone houses 8GB internal memory which can be further expanded up to 64GB with micro SD card.

In the camera aspect, the latest device sports an 8MP auto-focus rear camera with LED Flash that is capable of shooting video at 1080p and a 5MP front-facing shooter.

Connectivity options include 3G HSPA+21Mbps, Wi-Fi b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0, GPS+GLONASS and yes it is a Dual SIM smartphone with a dual standby mode.

The Samsung Galaxy Grand Prime that measures 144.8×72.1×8.6mm and weighs 156 grams draws its energy from a 2600 mAh battery.
