Samsung Mystery Handset Spotted in the Wild: Nothing, But Original Galaxy S4 Prototype

Samsung is surely on a roll. The South Korean giant has been criticized for not coming up with metal styled handsets. Talking about the competition, HTC has been getting attention these days with the announcement of aluminum body - HTC One.

Apple has been making gorgeous metal crafted iPhone since the inception. On the other hand, Nokia is still thinking to shift from high-quality polycarbonate designs to complete change i.e. by embracing aluminum ducked chassis.

What about Samsung? Well, this very year, Samsung has updated its high-end lineup with the arrival of Samsung Galaxy S4. Even though it is rumored to carry astronomical price still the handset feels cheap at first sight.

However, Samsung may opt for rather expansive design with its upcoming device - Galaxy Note 3. The word on the street is that the South Korean giant is opening up to include metal bucked body in its upcoming high -end devices.

Recently Twitter sensation @evleaks posted some images of so-called Samsung's first shot at metal styled chassis. It was said that the handset could be much hyped Samsung Galaxy Note 3 or even, Samsung Tizen device for that matter.

Well, now SamMobile is reporting that the pictures posted from @evleaks were completely nonsense. If sources of SamMobile are to be believed, then these above discussed images should have some relation to the original Samsung Galaxy S4 prototype device. The nicely packaged design didn't make into final device (Samsung Galaxy S4).

Going by the image shared by Sam Mobile; the design has some influence from Note series. The handset could be made into final Tizen device. Samsung has shown similar design; of course it was powered by Tizen OS at MWC 2013 earlier this year. It is said that Samsung made Tizen OS devices won't come cheap, and reportedly carry same high-end treatment, as you expect from the Galaxy S3 handset.

Samsung Galaxy Note 3 - Expected specifications

The Samsung made Galaxy Note 3 will have a 6.3-inch Full HD display with Octa-Core processor inside. Coupled with 3GB of RAM , 16GB/32GB/64GB/128GB of internal storage , expandable memory up to 64GB via microSD card, NFC, S PEN , Wi-Fi, 4G LTE, 3G, Bluetooth, HDMI port, and rumored 4000mAh battery fitted inside. It is reported that the handset will be completely different from its predecessor in terms of design, and flaunts metal chassis.
