Samsung Reportedly Ships 10 Million Galaxy S5 in 25 Days, Breaks Galaxy S4 Record
Samsung's latest flagship handset, the Galaxy S5, hasn't received the warmest response from critics. Several analysts have acknowledged to the fact that Samsung hasn't delivered a ‘wow' product with the Galaxy S5. However, it seems that the Galaxy S5 is selling well, despite being tagged as ‘awful product' by certain section of media. Believe it or not, Samsung is yet again moving the record number of its flagship handsets units. According to a report straight from South Korea, Samsung has managed to shift more than 10 million units of the Galaxy S5 in a span of 25 days. Yes, you heard it right!
In comparison, it took 27 days to move 10 million Galaxy S4 units, and full 50 days to reach the same milestone with the Galaxy S3. Samsung's Galaxy Note 3, which was launched at IFA Berlin 2013, had managed to shift more than 10 million handsets worldwide in just two months. Well, it looks like the growth has slowed down, but the Galaxy S5 by no means a failed device. While these magical figures aren't sales, still, the amount of units shipped is nonetheless impressive. An official statement from Samsung should be anticipated shortly.

Still, things are looking good for Samsung as the Galaxy S5 has sold well, despite getting negative reviews from the mainstream media. The milestone will likely to save Samsung from further media bashing. Of late, both critics and investors had been unsure about the success of the Galaxy S5. The South Korean giant Samsung is facing rather grilling competition from market leader Apple, the company behind the best selling iPhone 5S. Not only Apple, LG has become a big threat to Samsung after the success of the Nexus 5 and G2 handset. The South Korean firm will release the next-gen handset under its G series later this month.
