Samsung Sets the Date For CES 2015 Tech Show

CES 2015 is scheduled from Jan 6-9 2015 at Las Vegas and Samsung has confirmed its plans for the biggest tech of the year.

Samsung, the world's top electronics company, has officially confirmed that its much-awaited press meet will be held on Monday January 5, followed by a keynote address by Samsung Electronics CEO and President, B K Yoon. The Galaxy S5 maker will unveil its 2015 lineup on the same day as Sony and LG.

Well, during the press conference Samsung is expected to announce a couple of new products, including high-end TVs and connected home appliances. Chances are less to see the arrival of the Galaxy S6 at CES 2015.

Although there haven't been no specific leaks, the South Korean giant will indeed launch a few forward looking products. As for wearable tech, we'd like to see a bunch of new devices including smart glasses, among others.

If you're hoping to get your first impressions at the Galaxy S6 then lower your expectation as Samsung's next flagship handset will certainly launch around MWC in March 2015.

Samsung will probably launch tablet devices but we're more interested to see something like the Galaxy Note Edge.

As expected, Samsung's arch rival - Sony is also geared up to launch new products and flashy 4K TVs at the annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2015. Reportedly, Sony could unveil the Xperia Z4 at the same tech event, alongside the its new range of TVs-powered by Google's Android TV platform.
