South Korean ace smartphone manufacturer Samsung has been stirring an overwhelming excitement among the fans by releasing a number of devices ahead of the Mobile World Congress, which is yet to take place later this month.

Obviously the smartphone maker has already proved its caliber in the high end smartphone range and as evident as it is, the company has already been fishing in the mid-range smartphone market as well for a long time.

Samsung SM-G310 Featuring Android KitKat Tipped As Company's First Low

Now the company might give another punch to the rival manufacturers by launching its upcoming low-end smartphone soon. The kick might turn out to be the Android KitKat OS featuring in the handset. Called by the model number SM-G310, the device was tipped by a Twitter user @abhijeetnaohate.

Moreover, he also revealed parts of the specs as well. Thus according to his tweet, the device would come with a 3.97 inch display offering a resolution of 480×800pixels. It would be powered by a dual-core Broadcom BCM2763 processor clocked at 1.2GHz . As said earlier it would run on Android 4.4.2 KitKat version. He further states that the device would be made available in 2 variants: a Single and a Dual SIM (h/DS/R5) variants.

If the information from the Twitter user materializes at any point of time, the SM-G310 smartphone could become the first budget smartphone from Samsung to offer the latest and greatest version of Android.

Also confirming the existence of the device is a proof which comes right from the shipping information database Zauba, where the same model name has been highlighted several times. Thus, you can say that the SM-G310 is currently undergoing a testing phase in India.
