Samsung has been in tough spot lately. The company recently reported a big slump in quarterly profits as the sudden decline in its handset business. Its Galaxy S5 is not selling as well; the company's mid-end range handsets too failed to stop Xiaomi's growing dominance in Asia. In other words, the last year seemed like a worst period ever for the tech giant.

Though Samsung is still very popular, the company has been declining all over. Recently however, there have been signs of revival. And if the latest reports are to be believed, Samsung is expected to introduce the new smartphone with mid-range specifications.

Samsung launched the Galaxy Grand 2 in the end of 2013. Now, exactly one year later, Samsung is announcing the successor to the Galaxy Grand 2, the Grand 3. According to several media reports, the speculated Galaxy Grand 3 will be launched this week, and will go on sale exclusively on Snapdeal.

Samsung Galaxy Grand 3 - Rumoured Specifications

In late December, the upcoming Galaxy Grand 3 paid a visit to TENNA in China. As per the leaked information, the smartphone will be thinner and lighter than its predecessor. Its measures 7.95 mm thick, while it weighs in at 140 grams

The Galaxy Grand 3 will come with a 5.25-inch 720p HD quality display, 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 chipset, 1.5GB of RAM, and 16GB of expandable memory. In the imaging department, it is likely to feature a 13MP rear facing camera, and a 5MP front facing shooter.
