South Korea's most successful smartphone maker Samsung has today made its first audio hardware official for mobile devices, while on the other hand, it has also started officially teasing its upcoming smartphone called the Galaxy K. The device is very much a successor to the company's last year's camera oriented device the Galaxy S4 Zoom. In the past few months the device has also been rumored with the name Galaxy S5 Zoom, which is logical to some extent. However, the name of the device is not confirmed as of now.
The Galaxy S5 Zoom or Galaxy K is not much of a secret project as said earlier the smartphone with more added imagining capability has been leaked several times in the past. Thus we roughly know what the device stands for. However, the main concern is regarding the video that the company has officially released in a form of a teaser via official Instagram account.
The latest video teaser posted by the company on Instagram shows the zooming capability of the handset. At least, that could be one hint. It zooms into the Red Dot Design Museum, with the caption 'Meet #TheNextGALAXY. Join us for a live update on April 29 at 11AM SGT'. And the best part is that the zoom strength of the alleged phone is pretty amazing and it also retains the image quality at the same time.
The Samsung Galaxy K (aka Galaxy S5 Zoom), is said to have a 20MP point-and-shoot camera with 10x optical zoom capability. In terms of specification, culminating all the leaks and rumors that took place earleir, the Galaxy K will come with a 4.8-inch 720 x 1280 pixel display. It will be powered by a hexa-core Exynos 5 SoC coupled with 2GB of RAM. The handset is a popular combination of Android smartphone and a point-and-shoot camera thus you can expect Android 4.4.2 KitKat in the device, along with Samsung's TouchWiz UI.
