Samsung to Launch Low-End Android KitKat Smartphone To Take on Moto E
The advent of the Moto E smartphone in the Indian market surprised lots of low-end smartphone buyers and it in fact catered to a lot of buyers who were looking to buy the latest Android OS version featuring basic smartphone. At the price of Rs. 6,999, the latest Moto E made a serious change in the market and it is currently selling like hot cakes.
Realizing that lucrative aspect of the price-point at which Moto E was launched, Samsung is now planning to launch a handset in the same price range. In fact, a listing in the Indian import/export tracking site called Zauba, clearly shows that SM- G350E codenamed handsets from the company has already been imported to India for testing purposes. Two units of the handset has arrived in India and the site reveals the pricing of the handset as Rs. 6,070.

According to Indian blog, Gadgets to Use the aforementioned handset will come with be a dual SIM support. Zauba listing also clearly reveals the 4.3 inch display of the smartphpone. However, the best part of the smartphone is that it will have a very similar guts to that of Moto E.

Thus, the talk is about the upcoming Samsung phone which will have a 1 GB RAM, 4.3 Inch display, Dual core processor and Android 4.4 KitKat OS out of the box. In terms of power and processor, a dual core SoC that was first used on Galaxy Core LTE will be most probably power the handset. One of the Indian tech blog says that the processor will be clocked at 1.2 GHz and a PowerVR SGX 544 MP GPU will also come packed with the budget-friendly handset.
Moreover, Samsung might use an 8 GB internal memory in the listed Samsung SMG357E handset. It is expected to come with a 5 MP autofocus rear camera capable of HD video recording complimented by a front facing VGA shooter.
If you are not aware, Micromax has already launched the Moto E rivals in the form of Unite 2 and Canvas Engage and even Lava has today released Iris X1 in the same price range. Thus very soon Motorola will have a tough time battling the premium smartphone makers in the India market especially in the low-end category.
