Samsung Trademark Points At 'Gear Blink': Is It Hinting At Gear Glass?
Samsung's habit of constantly staying in the news isn't something new, considering the fact that there is always something or the other coming up from the company. Keeping that trend alive, Samsung is back in news with a new patent filing showing a certain 'Gear Blank.'
Not long ago, there were reports doing rounds on the web about a SIM-enabled Gear variant. However, now the new product trademark applied for Samsung is hinting at yet another device in its Gear lineup.
As of now, not much is known about this 'Gear Blink' technology, but it seems like Samsung has already moved to trademark the name Gear Blink in South Korea.
And although the trademark application doesn't really offer any details related to the technology, according to Sam Mobile, "the word Blink suggests we could be looking at the smart glasses - tentatively titled Gear Glass" which Samsung is already working on.

Not much is known about the Gear Glass (or Gear Blink), although Samsung has already applied for a number of patents surrounding smart glasses.
"The latest patent suggested that it could be different from Google Glass in that it will feature both a Bluetooth earpiece and a head-up display, and could launch alongside the Galaxy Note 4 in September," the report adds.
