Samsung Wave M: The smartphone with high speed internet access

Samsung has recently come up with their Samsung Wave M model. This is a mid range phone and incorporate some very good features. This model is expected to be an upgrade to their Wave 723 model.

The phone has an overall black colour design finish to it. This light weight device features a tapered back side and that makes it comparatively very easy to hold it. All in all the design philosophy seems to be very neat and professional.

The 3.65 inch LCD display packs in a screen resolution of about 320 x480 pixels. This gives it a pixel density of 158 pixels per inch .This can be considered as a drawback since it does not comes even to the average screen quality in this segment. Also the absence of a light sensor is felt while using the phone outside. The phone features dual cameras. The main 5 mega pixel camera is situated at the rear and has a provision of LED flash. So you won’t have any problems taking pictures in low or no light conditions. The picture quality is amazing and it works well both indoors and outdoors.

Touch screen interface is really beautiful and it provides the user with a lot of customizable widgets. The home screen back ground is transparent and you can scroll up and down through the menus instead of swiping.

The new version of the Dolphin web browser comes in very handy since it has a download manager. The interface is also improved and looks much better. Since the phone is packed with connectivity options there won’t be much trouble in finding the required data as well as in sharing contents .The call quality is also very good.

Samsung Wave M model is expected to be launched with a price tag of more than Rs.12,000/- in India. If you are looking for something out of the mainstream phones that has some good features and specs then this is definitely the phone for you.
