Samsung has started to accept orders for the new music smartphone Galaxy Music Duos which was released in October 2012 in India. The dual SIM Android 4.0 music phone comes with a host of features which can excite music lovers like dual speakers, SRS and Sound Alive technology. It will also have a dedicated music key to access songs in one click from the phone itself.
The company sources confirmed that this music phone would be available for Rs 9,199 in India and they would offer the Cash on delivery option too for those who purchase the phone online. Though the company announced that users can pre-order for this smartphone in India, their e-store is yet to display the same. However the phone has started appearing in the catalogue of Snapdeal for a price tag of Rs 8,999.
The new smartphone though has attractive musical features; it offers only standard features when it comes to display and performance. Galaxy Music Duos would be powered by an 850 MHz processors and will have 4GB internal memory good enough to store a number of music tracks.
There is a SD card provision to extend the memory capacity up to 32GB. It will also have a LCD touchscreen display which will offer a display resolution of 240x320. The other feature which users would appreciate is the availability of a 3 MP camera. However, it misses a standard feature of camera flash which is available in almost all comparable smartphones.
The other specification that you would be interested in a music phone is the battery, which is decent enough to give you enough operating time while travelling. It is powered by 1300 MAh battery. It will also support the standard connectivity and data transfer options like Wifi, Bluetooth and Micro USB by which you can transfer favorite music tracks too with ease.
