The budget conscious Indian handset market it flooded with low cost mobile phones starting from Rs 800 onwards. Many manufacturers are releasing handsets in the Rs 1,000 to Rs 2,000 price range to attract the consumers looking for such models, which can save their wallets.
Sansui the Japanese consumer electronics manufacturer has unveiled four feature phones - S43, S45, S47 & S49T in its S series range. These handsets are designed to offer more battery life and entertainment.
All the four new models are dual SIM handsets with power packed features and offer the value for the money paid.

S43 sports a 2.8 inch TFT display with a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels and packed with a 1,500 mAh Li-ion battery which offers 9 hours talk time and 12 days standby. S45 also has a similar display and camera as the S43, but it is powered by a 1,800 mAh Li-ion battery offering 16 hours talk time and 400 hours standby.
When it comes to the S47, it has a 2.6 inch TFT display and a 1.3MP rear camera. However, S47 has a 1,500 mAh Li-ion battery as in the S43.
Finally, the S49T is the advanced handset in the new product lineup featuring a 2.6 inch QVGA touchscreen display. This feature phone has a 1.3MP rear camera and is packed with a 1,200 mAh Li-ion battery, providing 7 hours of talk time and 300 hours of standby.
While the S43 and S49T support up to 8GB memory cards, the S45 and S47 support 16GB. All the four new handsets have the Movie DJ application preloaded and come with features like GPRS, mobile tracker and privacy lock.
The pricing of the S43, S45, S47 and S49T dual SIM feature phones are Rs 1,999, Rs 1,599, Rs 2,199 and Rs 2,299 respectively.
