Japanese smartphone maker Sony, which recently launched its latest Xperia Z2 smartphone globally, has already been planning to push Android 4.4.2 update to its Xperia line-up of handsets. The company had earlier updated a number of handsets as well. Moreover, Sony Mobile had already confirmed plans to bring the Android 4.4.2 KitKat operating system to various Xperia models few months ago.
Now details of the Android update has hit the online world, as new image leak of the document shows all the handsets that will receive the latest Android update by June and July. The alleged document comes courtesy of justaboutphones.
According to the leaked document, Xperia Z, Xperia ZL and Xperia ZR should receive the Android 4.4.2 KitKat update in June. While the other recently launched phones like Xperia T2 Ultra, Xperia M2, Xperia E1 and Xperia SP will get the update sometime in the June-July time frame.

At the same time, the company is also preparing to update its mid-range handsets like Xperia C, Xperia L and Xperia T with Android 4.3 Jelly Bean version. This will also be released by the next two months. Also as said earlier, the Xperia SP handset will also get Android 4.4.2 KitKat update.
However, there are no official confirmation as to whether the news is 100% correct or not but surely you will have to take it with a pinch of salt.
