The rumors about the Sony Xperia Z3 haven't stopped swirling, and now there's a new update which you may find interesting to read. Sony's current flagship phone, the Xperia Z2, is already off to a good start since its launch earlier in May.
Those who bought the phone are no doubt happy with their purchase, but it looks like the company has already started working on a successor to the Z2.

Xperia Blog reports a new Sony phone carrying a model number D6653 has appeared on the Indonesian Postel regulatory site. It has been found that the Sony-made phones appearing on the Postel site always tend to get released at some point down the line.
The device is question comes bearing the model number D6653, which could be the new variant of the D6603. For instance, the Sony Xperia Z2 was D6503; it simply means that the D6603 could be Sony's new flagship for second-half of 2014. Could it be the Sony Xperia Z3?
Not long ago, an alleged report from DooMLoRD, the XDA forum developer known for correct Xperia-related leaks, had claimed the new premium phone will sport slim bezels and will be only 7mm thick. Furthermore, the new device will arrive in September with an all new design. Previous rumors in the past have suggested the handset to go official much before IFA Berlin 2014 tech show, scheduled to kick off on September 5 2014.
