Sony Ericsson Live, The New Walkman Phone Coming Soon
Sony Ericsson's patented Walkman technology will now have the Android smart phone intelligence. The new Sony Ericsson Walkman phone is an Android based Smartphone. Sony Ericsson Live, the newly launched phone with its unique Walkman feature is definitely the one no music addict would risk to miss.

The new mobile phone now will have the power of instant access to online websites with its exclusive music button which takes the user directly to the walkman feature of the Sony Ericsson Live and enabling the music share facility with the sites. Facebook integration is another notable feature of the new mobile phone. Thus the user will now be able to share their favorite songs with their Facebook friends with just one touch.

The new mobile phone is fitted with a 3.2 inch capacitive screen (320 X 480) which is multi touch enabled. The image display is brilliant with 16M colors. The responses are sped up with a powerful 1GHz processor. Sony Ericsson Live is equipped with a front camera, but it would be only helpful for making VOIP calls similar to Skype video calling.

The Sony Ericsson Live supports all the general 2G and 3G network bands. The latest handset which is 106 X 56.5 X 14.2 mm in dimensions weighs just 115 g. The display is scratch resistant and with proximity sensors for auto turn off and an accelerometer sensor for auto rotate. The memory storage in the phone is a 320MB internal memory with a 512 MB RAM. The included 2GB external memory storage can be expanded to a 32GB with a microSD card.

The connectivity options are strengthened with a GPRS combined with EDGE technology. The WLAN utility is a WiFi 802.11 b/g/n. An efficient Bluetooth device is provided in the handset for easy data transfer in addition to the v2.0 micro USB.

It has a 5MP camera with advanced image editing features like an autofocus and LED flash. Other features include a Geo tagging, image stabilization, smile and face detection, and even a touch focus feature.

A special service from Sony Ericsson, the Qriocity media, comes pre-embedded in the phone and with the applications, the user will be able to browse and explore new videos and images from the Sony library.

The head of the product marketing for Sony Ericsson, Mr. Nikolaus Scheurer said that the new Sony Ericsson Live is a realization of the variant interests of the customers who want the ultimate 3 Dimensional musical experience rather than the conventional 2D experiences.

The device will be available in India and other countries by the end of this year .The price and other related information about the launch is yet to be revealed.
