Sony Ericsson’s Flagship Phone – Nozomi
Sony Ericsson Nozomi is set to be launched next year. But, there will be cooler handsets coming out at that time. But still, with all its specifications and looks, Nozomi is not going down easy and may even be dealing heavy damage to the other competitors. Sony Ericsson Nozomi looks gorgeous with its amazingly cool curved body and a monster of a screen. The Candybar model Nozomi's HD display is first class with 1280 x 720 pixels max resolution and 16M colour with an awesome 342 ppi pixel density which would supposedly make it better than Apple's new iPad with Retina Display. Sony Ericsson uses a 1.5 GHz Dual Core processor for Nozomi. Now words on the company of the CPU yet but it's confirmed that the handset will possess 1 GB size for RAM.
It supports 2G and 3G networks of GSM 850, 900, 1800, 1900 MHz and UMTS/HSPA 800, 850, 900, 1900, 2100 MHz frequencies, respectively. Accelerometer for auto rotate is present along with proximity sensors. The Sony Ericsson Nozomi reportedly runs on an Android OS, most likely the Ice cream Sandwich or Gingerbread. The Webkit browser is Sony Ericsson fans' favourite. With HTML compatibility and Flash support, it gets better. There are front and rear cameras in Nozomi but there are only rumours about the camera resolutions and specifications. It's a new generation phone believed to topple the market ratings. So it's very likely to feature HD video recording as well. GPRS, EDGE, 802.11 WiFi and an A2DP 2.1 version Bluetooth are other significant features along with NeoReader barcode scanner, Wisepilot navigation, Track ID music recognition, HDMI port, TV out, A-GPS and access to Android markets. The media player in Nozomi is expected to support almost all major audio/video formats.
All these hi end specs require major battery back up. A 1750 mAh Li-Po ion battery is believed to juice up the Nozomi with power enough to provide enhanced talk time and standby battery backups. Sony Ericsson Nozomi appears to be of a colour which combines black and white. Other available colours are unknown at the moment. Among all these cool features is a slight disappointment. Nozomi comes with a non expandable memory of 32 GB. But other than this, this handset will definitely impress anyone who uses it. Sony Ericsson hasn't let out any words on the price in India yet, but it's speculated to be around Rs 29,000/- or less may be.
