The Playstation certified Android Smartphone by Sony Ericsson, Xperia Play, is brilliantly and exclusively designed for hardcore gaming buffs. Sony Ericsson Xperia Play is equipped with exclusive joypad controls similar to that of the Playstation Portable (PSP). It was a fantasy for gaming cum gizmo buffs, an enhanced portable version of a video game console apt for incredible gaming experience anywhere.

But now the news is that Sony Ericsson Xperia Play has become a huge success in the market that the authorities have decided to create a lot more games for the new Sony Ericsson mobile phone and release it. Already an array of exciting and interesting games has been released. Sony Ericsson revealed that they would be releasing 20 more games for Xperia Play soon, out of which 10 will optimized in performance and graphics for the new mobile handset, in E3 an international gizmo event.

The most popular titles of video games released for the Sony Ericsson Xperia Play are Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six: Shadow Vanguard, EA's Battlefield Bad Company 2, Sleepy Jack and Armageddon Squadron 2 from Polarbit, Mojang's Minecraft, Icebreaker, Desert winds, Ruined and an unnamed fighting game all expected to provide the user with a gaming experience that he could only find in consoles connected to television.

Around 150 games are bound to be released for Sony Ericsson Xperia Play Android platform later as per the company sources. Android polarbit's popular racing game Reckless Getaway will also be there. Besides the release of awesome new games, Sony Ericsson updated the Xperia Play with a new feature collaborating with Facebook integrated in the handset, which allows the user to update statuses with his opinions on the game and to share high scores in games and proud gaming moments in the Facebook account by uploading the screenshots of the gameplay.

The new Sony Ericsson mobile, Xperia Play is still no match for the Playstation's new portable console, the Playstation Vita. But what Xperia Play has, has never been present in other smart phones. Integrated display adapters and powerful processors of the new Sony Ericsson mobile lets the users experience mind-blowing and fascinating gaming experience with lots of fun, keeping them at it for hours. The new mobile is reviewed by users to be better in performance and graphics than the original Sony Playstation, except for the smaller display size.

Sony Ericsson also shows their gratitude for making the Xperia Play a smash hit by, launching an Experience Pack exclusively for it, which comprises of D300 Multimedia Dock, pocket USB cables, and a standard audio cable that lets you connect the dock to an external audio device.
