The Honami i1, a true successor to Xperia Z is said to be unveiled officially on September 4. Even Samsung will announce its forthcoming Note 3 on the same day. Recently, Sony Honami I 1 was compared with iPhone 5 on Chinese forum site Digi-Wo. The Honami i1 will have a 5-inch Full HD display having resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.
Moreover, some more images of Honami device have recently surfaced on Esato forum. So it would not be wrong to say that Sony Honami i1 smartphone will have a 20-mega pixel camera sensor with dedicated " G" branding, an f2.3 aperture , and confirms the existence of 20.7MP camera. Sony has always used "G Lens" branding on its higher end DSLR cameras. Users would surely appreciate Sony's effort, if the Japanese giant ever comes up with high-end camera optics.
In another report, Sony Honami i1 is believed to record 4K videos. Yes, you heard it right. After the failure of 3D, as a technology, Sony is betting high on 4K. For the first time, Sony will introduce a smartphone with 4K supported video recording facility. The PlayStation 4 maker is already selling 4K resolution capable TVs and cameras in the market. According to Digi-Wo forum site, an image of a leaked slide reveals 4K video resolution, as the expected features to greet Honami device.
Last week, GizBot informed you that an executive over at Sony India exclusively shared information in context to Honami i1. Here is an excerpt from the original story.
"Recently, a senior executive over at Sony India shared some juicy details about Honami i1 with us. The executive wished to remain anonymous. Co-incidently, he also confirmed that September 4 is the chosen date to announce Honami i1.The device will feature a powerful camera. Since competition in this space have already arrived in respect to Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom , Nokia Lumia 1020 and soon to be announce iPhone 5S; Sony does not want to be stay far from the limelight. However, the executive declined to comment upon the design and specifications of the so-called Honami i1."
The Sony Honami i1 will have a 5-inch 1080p HD display. Under the hoo a 2.2GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of ROM (expandable up to 64GB via microSD card), is a possibility. The rear camera will have a 20-mega pixel camera with Exmor CMOS sensor, BIONZ image processor, and Sony "G" lens.
