Japanese smartphone maker Sony may come up with a new selfie handset, the Android-powered Xperia C4, that the company is hoping will revive its fortunes in the competitive mid-range of the smartphone market.
A new revelation made by the ever reliable Upleaks has revealed the existence of a mid-end Xperia C4 smartphone also known as the Xperia Cosmos.
We've been over the Sony Xperia C4 numerous times in the past. The phone once known as the Xperia Cosmos will apparently be launching as the Xperia C4.
It's a device that is rumoured to have a high-quality font shooter with a MediaTek chipset on-board, and it figures to be the successor to the Xperia C3 - a selfie-centric smartphone. The alleged Xperia C4 is tipped to run on Android 5.0 Lollipop.

So, clearly, this isn't a premium device from the house of Sony but it certainly might appeal to those who don't want to spend a ton of money on a device like the Samsung Galaxy S6.
Sony Xperia Z4 - New Update
There's no firm release date, of course, and the schedule could still slip back to "fall 2015". Besides the Xperia C4, Sony is also anticipated to introduce the much-awaited Xperia Z4 - a smartphone destined to rival the Apple iPhone 6 in the premium segment of the smartphone market.
The Sony Xperia Z4 recently spotted at a popular benchmarking site, revealing the key features of the flagship smartphone. The device is shown running Android 5.0.2 Lollipop OS and powered by Snapdragon 810 Octa-core CPU, Adreno 430 graphics engine, 3GB RAM and 32GB of native memory.
On the camera front, it is said to sport 20.7-megapixel rear-facing camera, same as its predecessor Z3, but at the front, the company has bumped the front-facing camera to 5.0-megapixel.
