Sony Xperia E3 And Dual Launched in India with Android 4.4 KitKat: Top 10 Rivals in Smartphone War

Just yesterday, Google announced the three smartphones under Android One Initiative. These devices come from domestic smartphone makers including Micromax, Karbonn and Spice. But also at the same time, Sony made its latest affordable phone available in India.

The smartphones in question are the Xperia E3 and E3 Dual. The Sony Xperia E3 Dual comes in white, black and lime color options. It is priced at Rs. 12,990. On the other hand, the Xperia E3 comes in black and white color variants and is priced at Rs. 11,990.

Anyways, today Gizbot has come up with the top 10 rival devices that will battle against the newly launched Xperia E3 smartphones in India. But before heading on to the rival devices, do chack out the specs of the Xperia E3 and E3 dual smartphones.

Sony Xperia E3 and E3 Dual: Key Specifications

The latest Xperia E3 and E3 Dual sport a similar specs and the only difference lies in the dual SIM slot in the E3 Dual. Others remain the same. Thus, they both boasts a 4.5-inch capacitive touch screen display offering a resolution of 854 x 480 pixels.
These come powered by a 1.2 GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 (MSM8226) processor with Adreno 305 GPU. The latest handsets are also backed by 1GB RAM and run on Android 4.4 (KitKat).

Both the Xperia E3 house 4GB internal memory which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. These devices have a limited imaging capability compared with the other devices from the company. They come packed with a 5MP rear camera with LED flash capable of recording video at 1080p and a 0.3MP (VGA) front-facing snapper.

Connectivity option in the two devices include: 3G HSPA+, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS / aGPS and Dual SIM support in the E3 dual. The Xperia E3 and E3 Dual also have a similar dimension and they measure 8.5 mm thick and weigh 144 grams.

Fuelled by 2330 mAh battery, the new devices also come with Sony's proprietary Battery STAMINA Mode.
