Sony Xperia E4 Smartphone Leaked Out in New Images

It wasn't too long ago when Sony unveiled the Xperia E3, but reports are circulating that the company is already planning to announce the next-gen handset in the E series. Sony will reportedly launch the Xperia E4 at the annual Mobile World Congress (MWC), to be held in March.

Although the Xperia E3 is available only in India for Rs. 11,990, it looks like Sony has already planned to unleash its successor, the Xperia E4. Polish tech site Teleguru today posed several alleged photos of the so-called Xperia E4.

It's said that the handset will be made available in two versions: one with a single SIM (E2105), and the other with a dual-SIM capability (E2115). Reportedly, the forthcoming Sony Xperia E4 could cost a mere $200 or Rs. 12,500. It should be made available in the retail market sometime in March, as reported by Teleguru.

Unlike the current-generation Xperia E3 model, the Xperia E4 will sport thin bezels and rounded edges. Cosmetically, though, the new model doesn't look too different from its predecessor.

Meanwhile, the leaked report suggest that the Xperia E4 will likely to come with a 5-inch qHD display (960 x 540) instead of the 4.5-inch, 480 x 854 pixels panel of the Xperia E3. Also, the Xperia E4 is speculated to feature a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor coupled with 1GB of RAM, and it will run on Android 4.4 KitKat out-of-the box.

As of now, the Xperia E4 is just a speculation, nothing else. Therefore, we advise you to take this report with a pinch of salt.
