Sony, one of the smartphone makers, which has most of the devices coming with water-proof builds, recently announced the latest mid-ranger device the Xperia M2 at the International Mobile World Congress, 2014. Now the follow-up leak pertaining to the same device has started pouring into the webosphere.
According to the report published in a Dutch website, the mid-range Xperia M2 smartphone will cost about 289 EUR which translates to Rs. 24,565 in Indian currency. The device is basically an upgraded variant of the company's earlier model Xperia M.

The upcoming Sony Xperia M2 comes with a 4.8-inch TFT display offering a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 400 processor and Adreno 305 GPU coupled with 1GB of RAM. It runs on Android, Jelly bean v4.3.
There is 8GB of native storage capacity and also features an expandable memory slot which supports up 32GB of additional storage unit.
Imaging facility can be pretty good with the incorporation of 8MP rear camera which can shoot Full HD videos at 30fps. While at the front a 2MP shooter comes handy for taking selfies and making video calls.
And the best part of the smartphone is that it will come in 4G LTE and 3G model as well.
The smartphone which measures 139.6 x 71.1 x 8.6 mm and weighs 148 grams is powered by a 2300 mAh battery.
The device which will be made available in Single SIM and Dual SIM variants, and will come in black, white and purple color variants.
