It seems that Sony's preparations for the Consumer Electronics Show 2013 is going on in full swing. This can be said, as the information regarding the Xperia Odin smartphone is constantly being revealed in the tech rumors and image leaks almost every week.
Reportedly, Xperia C650X Odin will be the next flagship smartphone of the Japanese tech giant and it is believed to have a 5 inch HD display with 1080p as the other phablets existing in the market.
After being captured in the wild a few days back, its official press render has been leaked. The alleged official photo of the next flagship handset of Sony resembles Sony Ericsson Xperia X2 and Motorola Razr with beveled edges and metallic frame. The handset with a metallic finish features an extremely narrow bezel and the Xperia logo at the bottom.
When it comes to the rumored specifications of the handset, Xperia C650X will feature a 5 inch touchscreen display with a HD 1080p resolution and 440 ppi pixel density, a quad core 1.5GHz Snapdragon S4 Pro processor, 13MP rear shooter, 2GB RAM and 32GB on-board storage.

Going by the lines of an earlier report, Sony is prepping a C650X smartphone codenamed Odin running on Android 4.1.1 Jelly Bean OS and same device could be launched in different regions with different carriers as C6502, C6503 and C6506.
Moreover, a recent image leak disclosed the specs of the base model in the series to run on Android 4.0 ICS OS and feature a 3.2 inch capacitive touchscreen display of 320 x 480 pixel resolution, 1GHz Cortex processor, 3.2MP rear camera, 2GB internal storage, micro SD card supporting 32GB additional storage capacity, Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi and 3G connectivity features.
Anyways, the tech enthusiasts will have to wait until January 2013 for Sony to unveil the Odin smartphone.
