Sony is set for a roller coaster ride. After making every one Gaga over the Sony Xperia Z, the Japanese giant is prepping to release two surprise handsets. Interestingly, both dual-core handsets were marked absent from Mobile World Congress (MWC) and CES, earlier this year.
However now, the Sony Xperia SP (C530X) and Xperia L (C210X) have been spotted dancing at Europe's leading retailers. Among them LamdaTek, Amazon and eBuyer, have already listed HuaShan (Xperia SP) and TaoShan (Xperia L).
The listing didn't reveal much about the alleged image leak neither about highlighted specs. But, hinted at rough price tag to own these Android powered devices. At the same time, Xperia Blog (via GSMArena) has shed light on the unconfirmed specifications of both above mentioned handsets. It is also being said that the stock (in reference to handsets), will most likely to arrive in this week itself.
Earlier this year, it is being said constantly that the Sony Xperia SP is HuaShan, for sure, based on Benchmark scores. Is Sony really inspiring to crunch Samsung dominated low-to-mid end Android market with its surprise party? Only time will tell.
Sony Xperia SP a.k.a HuaShan
The makers behind PlayStation 4 console are still mum about their new dual core handsets. Sources close to Xperia Blog have jotted down some known specs of the device. The Sony Xperia SP will have a 4.55-inch with 720p HD display, 1.7GHz dual -core processor Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 Pro MSM8960T, an 8-mega pixel rear camera powered by Exmor technology and 8GB of ROM (expandable).
Of course, the device will run Google Android OS. GizBot believes that it would support Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. LamdaTek lists HuaShan at £312.98(Rs. 25,287) while Ireland -based retailer Micro Aid expects to sell the device for €389.79(Rs. 27,550).
Sony Xperia L a.k.a TaoShan
Next in the line is another stellar handset currently known by the name of TaoShan. The handset will be stuffed with a 4.3-inch FWVGA display with a resolution of 480 x 854 pixels, Qualcomm Snapdragon 1GHz dual-core processor with Adreno 305 graphics, an 8-mega pixel rear camera with built-in Exmor imaging technology and 8GB of ROM (expandable).
Just like the Sony Xperia SP this handset could be supported by Android 4.1 Jelly Bean. LamdaTek lists TaoShan at £219.18(Rs.17, 708) while Micro Aid is believed to retail the device at €270.46(Rs. 19,116).
Well, India seems missing some action in regards to HuaShan and TaoShan. It is to be seen when Sony will make up its mind by announcing the above mentioned handsets in India. As of now, sing and dance, with the Sony Xperia Z. Stay tuned to GizBot.
