While the device comes running the Android Jelly Bean OS version 4.3, it is still basically a skinned version of the Android. However, if you were expecting a bit more out of the software, know that the device is also planned for a potential KitKat update.

The T2 Ultra offers users as many as six home screens that are customizable. Apart from that, another feature that might help you'll operate the device using a single hand and is expected to be a crowd favorite is when you double-tap the Home button, the notification slider will drop down and all the shortcuts will be moved to the bottom.

Also, hitting the Recents key will bring up a 'favorites bar' which will then let you place Sony's "small apps" which are basically movable widgets that tend to utilize the screen space.

Sony Xperia T2 Ultra: Camera

The T2 Ultra comes with a primary 13MP snapper that, as expected from a Sony Xperia-based device, maintains Sony's tradition of offering great camera sensors.

The camera is a decent offering as far as great looking stills and videos are concerned. However, if you zoom in more then it can be a bit of problem since the device takes bit of time detecting the surface. But, as always, the camera interface remains the same and easy to use.

Also, low light shots could tend to be a bit of a bummer since it doesn't really reflect Sony's original capabilities. However, the front camera is not really up to the mark and might need a lot of tending and editing before you can actually post a selfie that you clicked with the front cam.

Video recording also offers 1080p resolution for the rear shooter while offering 720p for the front.

Sony Xperia T2 Ultra: Final Words

The T2 Ultra may not be the greatest Sony Xperia device that was ever released, but it surely gets the job done. It's actually a great all-round device that will offer you an impressive look and die-hard battery.
