Apparently, the large display has actually become a thing of interest for Sony. It all began with the Xperia Z Ultra handset, which was launched with a gigantic 6.4-inches display. Soon, smartphone from the Japanese tech firm like T2 Ultra came into the scene with a screen-size as big as 6-Inches.
Now the company has unveiled its latest device called the Xperia T3. However, this doesn't bear a display as big as the formerly mentioned two models but it isn't small as well. The company has not disclosed the pricing of the handset at the moment. In terms of availability, Sony said that the smartphone would go on sale globally starting July-end. The Sony Xperia T3 comes in Black, White and Purple color variant.
Coming to the specifications, the smartphone features a 5.3-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Triluminos Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2.
It is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (MSM8928) processor with Adreno 305 GPU. Moreover, you will also get 1GB of RAM and runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS.
There is an 8MP rear camera with Sony Exmor RS sensor and LED flash which will be able to shoot a video at 1080p quality. And the Xperia T3 will also features a 1.1MP HD front-facing camera.
Very much like Xperia T2 Ultra, the T3 comes with a native storage of 8GB which can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card.
Connectivity options in the handset include 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 820.11 a/b/g/n ( 2.4 GHz/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 with APT-X, GPS/ GLONASS and NFC. It comes in both 3G HSPA+ (D5102) and 4G (D5103 and D5106) variants.
The Xperia T3 comes with a 7mm thick and weighs 148 grams and it is powered by a 2500 mAh Battery with STAMINA mode On the software front, Sony has included its media apps, Xperia Transfer as well as social camera customizations like Social Live, AR Effect, Timeshift Burst, Creative effects, and Portrait Retouch on the smartphone.
