Sony Xperia T3 With 5.3 Inch Display Launched for Rs 27,990 in India

Sony has finally launched its latest Xperia T3 smartphone in India today. The device which was announced last month comes at the price of Rs. 27,990, will be offered in a range of color options including Black, White and Purple. It would be available across India starting 28th July.

The Xperia T3 is somewhat similar to the Xperia T2 Ultra smartphone which features a fairly larger display measuring 6-inch. However, the device's price is comparatively higher than the ones that are currently available in India. Most of them come with a better specs as well. Lets check out the specs of the latest Sony Xperia T3 first.

Sony Xperia T3 comes packed with a 5.3-inch (1280 x 720 pixels) HD Triluminos Display with Mobile BRAVIA Engine 2 and is powered by a 1.4 GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 (MSM8928) processor with Adreno 305 GPU coupled with 1GB RAM and runs on Android 4.4 (KitKat) OS.

The smartphone uses 8MP rear camera with Sony Exmor RS sensor, LED flash, 1080p video recording and a 1.1MP HD front-facing camera to take pictures and record videos. Other specs include: 8GB internal memory, 32GB expandable memory via microSD card, 4G LTE / 3G HSPA+, WiFi 820.11 a/b/g/n ( 2.4 GHz/5 GHz), Bluetooth 4.0 with APT-X, GPS/ GLONASS, NFC and the maker has used a 2500 mAh Battery with STAMINA mode to power up the phone.

What is even interesting about the phone is that it just measures 7mm thick and has stainless steel frame and an aluminum power button. The company claims that it's the world's slimmest smartphone with a 5.3-inch display.

Sony Xperia T3: Can It Beat Xiaomi Mi 3?

Since Xiaomi Mi 3 comes with a typical hardware which was used in a flagship devices from last year, it has the potential to compete with most of the mid-range devices.
