Hurray! Sony Japan finally announces the Xperia UL. This would be Sony's third big release in a row. After Xperia A, the Japanese giant has come up another water and dustproof handset. The Sony Xperia UL is an exclusive to KDDI. All of the sudden, these tech vendors are so much concerned about waterproof handsets. Samsung is also planning a similar kind of handset - Galaxy Active, in the coming weeks. Well, this concept is not new, as many Japanese brands have come up their respective offerings in the past.
Talking about the Xperia UL, the device seems to be a mid-end Android device. It packs a 5-inch display with resolution of 1920 X 1080 pixels ( 443ppi), 1.5-GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon Pro processor, 2GB of RAM, Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, a 13-mega pixel rear facing camera powered by Sony's Exmor RS technology, VGA quality front facing camera, 16GB of internal memory which can be further expanded up to 64GB, a 2,300mAh Li Ion battery fitted inside, NFC, Wi-Fi, 3G, Bluetooth 4.0, and 4G LTE connectivity. The device will arrive on May 25. Sony will also offer the Xperia UL in three sizzling colors: White, Pink, and Black.
Of lately, Sony is churning a lot of Android based handsets. This very device too represents Sony's known design. The Xperia UL comes with water and dustproof branding. Its 13MP camera is said to capture 15 framed per second. All in all, the Sony Xperia UL seemed to be a winner.
