Sony Xperia Z Firmware Update Brings Camera and Performance Improvements

Sony Xperia Z is probably one of the most talked about high-end smartphones. There were quite a few complaints erlier this year saying the device was suffering from sudden death issues. Sony admitted to the problem and promptly released an update which fixed the problem.

Now, the comapy has release yet another update and this time it's happy news, as it bring several improvements. The new firmware update having the version no 10.1.1.A.1.253 will bring in the fallowing changes:

Performance improvements

Enhancements to Camera

Faster Camera load time

re-calibrated screen colors and white balance settings

Changes to Mini Apps icon

world time clock widget

Redisigned tool widget

Notification light can now be turned on/off

soft keys and navigation bar changed to black from Grey

LED will now pulse instead of blinking

Smoother Xperia Launcher

The update will still be based on Android 4.1.2 and is being pushed Over The Air (OTA). The update is currently being rolled to  Europian countries and there is no information on when it might arrive in India.
