Today, Sony Mobile finally went ahead and announced the much awaited Xperia Z Ultra at Mobile Asia Expo in China. So, now the phone is official and probably we will be doing more stories in the coming days.

What is so special about the Xperia Z Ultra? It packs a large sized display.Even the Huawei Ascend Mate has a 6.1-inch screen and even the Samsung Galaxy Mega 6.3 packs mammoth display. Why everyone is Gaga about Sony Xperia Z Ultra is because it is the only handset that comes with Full HD display. Sony is not joking, seriously. We are curiously waiting to do hands on review as early as possible.

Sony Xperia Z Ultra With 6.4-inch Full HD Display Now Official

The other day, we informed you that LG is making a high-end handset with Qualcomm Snapdragon 800 processor; Sony has already announced its first handset with world's most advanced processor. The Snapdragon 800 processor clocked at 2.2 GHz. Yes, it's a quad-core phone.

The Xperia Z Ultra is the world's slimmest Full HD smartphones, as per the Japanese giant. It measures 6.5mm in terms of thickness and weighs 212grams. We have seen how slim and sleek Xperia Z is. Basically, this handset is more and less same in terms of design. The phone is made from premium materials. The front and back are made of tempered glass.

The Xperia Z Ultra indeed looks refreshing. Sony says they have plans to release this gigantic device in three colors: Black, White and Purple. We expect the phone to land in Indian stores around Diwali.
